Welcome to the Oswego County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) web site! Our objective is to carry out a program of soil, water, and related natural resource conservation, by providing technical assistance and programs to residents, landowners, and units of government. We are an authorized Oswego County agency and a political subdivision of New York State. The SWCD was formed by an act of the Oswego County Legislature in October of 1945. WE'VE MOVED...as of 09/24/08!!! We are now located at 3105 State Route 3, just one building east of our previous location. We're in the former Division of Solid Waste office building, one driveway west of the Bristol Hill Landfill.
